Dawn A. Movesian

“Loving Sister”

Dawn A. Movesian, 56, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Mount Saint Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY, following a brief illness. Born on April 18, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Diana (Sarkissian) Movesian.

Dawn attended local schools and graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School in 1974. She later earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Niagara County Community College. Dawn worked as an office manager for the Ralph J. Genovese Accounting Firm in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a member of St. Hagop Armenian Church. For thirty-four years, Dawn was active in the Armenian Relief Society. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and baking pies. Dawn’s favorite place to have coffee with friends was Frankie’s Donuts in Niagara Falls, NY.

Dawn is survived by two brothers, Kim (Judy) Movesian of North Tonawanda, NY and Scott (Charlotte) Movesian of the Town of Niagara, NY and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.

The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007). Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in St. Hagop Armenian Church, 322-9th Street, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Hagop Armenian Church, 322-9th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
