Carol A. (nee Amendola) Cappy, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her residence from complications of a respiratory disease.  Born on July 24, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Dorothy (Rader) Amendola.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY.  She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  Carol was employed by Braniff International Airways and she later retired from the New York State Power Authority.  Carol was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She will always be remembered as the wonderful person she truly was.

Carol is survived by two children, Joseph Cappy of Niagara Falls, NY and Elizabeth (George) Reece of Youngstown, NY; one brother, George (Sue) Amendola of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
