Clifford L. Rhine

Clifford L. Rhine, 49, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.  Born on February 1, 1968 in Fayetteville, AR, Cliff, as he was known to family and friends, was the son of William Rhine and Elda (nee Wallace) (Samuel) Grimes all of Arkansas.  

Mr. Rhine was raised and attended schools in Arkansas and graduated from Bentonville High School. Cliff earned his Associates Degree from the University of Phoenix.  In 1991, he came to Western New York for employment.  On October 29, 1994, Cliff married the former Susan L. Wiederhold in Buffalo, NY.  Mr. Rhine was employed by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), where he worked as a bus driver.  Cliff was working to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Education, until he was injured.  He and his family are currently active members of Lewiston Assembly of God.

In addition to his wife, Susan, Mr. Rhine is survived by three sons, Peter, age 21, Zachary, age 19 and Joshua, age 16; five siblings, John Rhine, William “Junior” Rhine, David Rhine, Laticia James and Summer Wells and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, May 19th at 6 P.M. in Lewiston Assembly of God, 4754 Creek Road, Lewiston, NY.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
