David L. Perrigo

November 23, 1943 ~ December 3, 2016 (age 73) 73 Years Old

David L. Perrigo, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born on November 23, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY, David was the son of the late Elmer Perrigo and the late Nicolette ( Koutsos) (late Charles) Howard.

Mr. Perrigo proudly served as a sergeant in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. Since 1979, David was the owner and operator of The WHY Coffee Shop in Niagara Falls, NY.  His life was centered around the family business and serving quality food to his many loyal customers.  In his spare time, Mr. Perrigo enjoyed shooting pool.

Mr. Perrigo is survived by three daughters, Sheri Perrigo, Ronalyne (Todd) Zimmerman and Marti Tierney; three grandchildren, Shauna, Riley and Arionna; his former spouse, Patricia (nee Eracitano) Volpe and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents and step-father, David was predeceased by three siblings, Carol Primeau, Joseph Perrigo and Elizabeth Draeger.

According to Mr. Perrigo’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  For those who wish to honor David in the form of a contribution, are asked to consider the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), www.dav.org.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME.
