Eileen C. (Bardon) Barteck

Eileen C. (Bardon) Barteck, 55, of Niagara Falls, NY, wife of the late Donald Barteck, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.  Born on June 30, 1962 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Leopoldine (Bock) Bardon. Eileen was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools.  She enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and reading.

Eileen is survived by her son, Thomas Schmidt; siblings, Camille (Edward) Freeman, Marge (Robert) McAninch, Thomas (Judy) Bardon, Ronald Bardon and Michelle (Rick Mislin) Bardon Jaynes and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son in 2016, Jerry Schmidt, Jr.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, February 26th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
