Emma L. (DeLuca) Fisher, 85, of the Town of Niagara, NY , passed from this life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on October 12, 1931 in New Brighton, PA, Emma was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Tedeschi) DeLuca.

Emma graduated from Niagara Falls High School as well as Bryant and Stratton Business College. During her lifetime, she was employed in the accounting departments of several businesses in both Niagara Falls and Buffalo. Emma was a long standing member of First Assembly of God.  She served alongside her husband, who pastored for several years. Emma was involved in various areas of church work and was a church pianist for many, many years. Serving her Lord and family, along with caring for her home, were top priorities, but she always found time to include others in her daily activities.  Emma enjoyed reading (especially the Bible, her treasured book), baking, tatting, crewel work, embroidery and needlepoint, etc., always wanting her hands to be kept busy.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Fisher, Jr.  She is survived by her sons, Robert S. (Betty) Fisher and Greg S. Fisher; one grandson, Jason (Shelia) Fisher and her great-granddaughter, Grace Eliana.  Emma is also survived by nephews and several cousins.

The family will gather to receive friends on Wednesday, from 4-9 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service honoring Emma’s life on Thursday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in First Assembly of God, 9750 Niagara Falls, Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
