Evelyn Mary (Pacella) Pullo

Evelyn Mary (nee Pacella) Pullo, 103, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Monday, June 27, 2016. Born on May 22, 1913 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Madalena (Focazio) Pacella.  

Mrs. Pullo was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY.  Evelyn attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1931.  She was employed as a secretary for Pittsburgh Metallurgical Company, where she met her husband, Michael P. Pullo.  Mrs. Pullo was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Evelyn was very generous and caring to others.  She was always willing to give advice to anyone who needed it.  The family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to the staff at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility for their unfailing, compassionate care.

Mrs. Pullo is survived by one sister, Gloria M. Rignall of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was predeceased by one brother, Louis J. (Antoinette of Lewiston, NY) Pacella, DDS.

There will be no prior visitation.  Prayers of committal and entombment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel privately with her family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Schoellkopf Health Care Facility.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME.
