Jean Marie (nee Castricone) Guiliani, 73, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this earthly life, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on August 9, 1944 in Lewiston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Hilda (Amy) Castricone.
Mrs. Guiliani was a lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara. Jean attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1962. On August 6, 1966, she married Michael L. Guiliani. Mrs. Guiliani was employed as an accountant and office manager for Beldens, Valu Home Centers, Frontier Railway and Glidden Tool and Dye. Jean was a longtime communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, where she attended the St. Leo’s worship site and was a member of The Third Order of the Society of St. Francis . She enjoyed frequent vacations up north at their family cottage as well as down south at their cabin. Above all, Jean’s life was centered around her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Guiliani is survived by her children, Michael J. (Erica) Guiliani and Cindy (Steven) Cracknell and was predeceased by her son, Mark Stephen Guiliani. Jean is also survived by grandchildren, Jordan Leigh Cracknell, Meagan Williams, Marissa Guiliani, Jacob Tipton, Joseph Cracknell and Julius Guiliani; siblings, John (Elaine Miller) Castricone and Amy (Mike) Ross and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a sister-in-law to, Leon (Jean) Guiliani, Darlene (late Bob) Brovata and the late Gary (Margaret) Guiliani.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12-2 and 5-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday, January 24th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Leo’s Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jeffrey Nowak serving as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org.
