Joan (Thweatt) Kennedy

Joan (Thweatt) Kennedy, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on August 15, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, Joan was the daughter of the late Sidney and Helen (Miller) Thweatt. Mrs. Kennedy married Jack P. Kennedy on October 5, 1957.  Joan retired from Wheatfield Credit Union, where she was employed as a clerk. She was a member of the Buff Social Club in the Town of Niagara and enjoyed knitting.

In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Kennedy is survived by four children, Gary Kennedy, Stephen (Elaine) Kennedy, Mark (Doreen) Kennedy and Jacalyn (David ) Kelly; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Judith Daugherty and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, July 19th at 11:00 am in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.  Please visit www.goodlandercares.com for online condolences.
