Marguerite Isabelle (McClemont) Clark, age 91, of Lewiston, NY, passed from this life on Friday, December 23, 2016 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on February 12, 1925 in Niagara Falls, NY, Marguerite was the daughter of the late Irwin Roy and Nina Evolynn (Rosette) McClemont, Sr.

Mrs. Clark, a longtime area resident, was employed as a nurses aide at various locations.  Marguerite was a member of the Lewiston Seniors and she enjoyed reading and puzzles.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Allen Clark, Shelia (James) Morr and Roger (Joyce) Clark; grandchildren, Yvonne Downs, Robert Clark, Erin Steinman, Stephanie Clark, Tabatha Clark, Christal Harris and Leslie Confer; great-grandchildren, Allyson, Lucas, Kayla, James, Ethan, Margaret, Darcia, Mia, Benjamin and Marki; great-great-grandchild, Zoe and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Elmer H. Clark; sons, Daniel Patrick Clark and John Irwin Clark and brothers, George (late Ethel) McClemont and Irwin Roy (Jan) McClemont, Jr. 

The family will gather to receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 4-5 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service honoring Marguerite’s life will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m.  Private interment, beside her husband, in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at the convenience of the family.  

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Marguerite’s memory in the form of a contribution, are asked to consider the American Heart Association.
