Michael G. Willimott, Jr.

Michael G. Willimott, Jr., 38, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Friday, July 22, 2016.  Born on January 31, 1978 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Michael G. (Cindy) Willimott, Sr. and Mary (William Lloyd) Willimott both of Niagara Falls, NY.

Mike, as he was know by family and friends, attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1996.  He was currently employed as a plumber for Roto-Rooter.  Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.  He loved life, living it to the absolute fullest.  Above all, Mike loved being a dad.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by the mother of his children, Melanie Shank and was Daddy to Zoey M. Willimott and Michael J. “Mikey” Willimott.  He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, John Chamberlain and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mike was predeceased by one sister, Debra Ann Willimott.  A special thank you is extended to Mike’s dear friend, Michael Greenawalt, Jr.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 27th, from 3-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m.  Private interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Mike’s family for his children, c/o Michael Greenawalt, 8310 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Please visit www.ottoredanz.com for online condolences.
