Ramon F. "Ray" Ruiz

Ramon F. “Ray” Ruiz, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Born on April 14, 1947 in New York City, he was the son of the late Francisco and Graciela Ruiz. 

Mr. Ruiz attended schools in New York City and college in Florida.  Ray came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1993.  On February 12, 1994 he married his rock and love of his life, the former Ann M. Lamb.  Mr. Ruiz was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education and in 2007 Ray retired from Seneca Niagara Casino. He was an avid sports fan and collector of coins and sports memorabilia.  Mr. Ruiz also enjoyed playing cards with his friends.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Ruiz is survived by two children, Ramon (Regla) Ruiz and Jenny (Ricky) Estrada; two step-children, Leon Lascelle and Liane (Vito) Lascelle-Paoli and grandchildren, Ricky and Jazman Estrada, Ramon, Ryan and Rebecca Ruiz and Lindsey, Ciara and Ryan Lascelle.  Ray is also survived by his brother from another mother, Dave Sirianni.  He was predeceased by his favorite brother-in-law, Donald Lamb.
