Rance Green Life story

Rance Peyton Green, 56, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his residence in Ransomville, New York. Born on December 10, 1961, he was the son of the late Georgia (Tilton) Brass and the late Richard Green. He was the stepson of Alice (Mocny) Green and William Brass.

 

Rance spent his pre-teen years in San Jose, California with his father’s family, and then moved in with his mother’s family in Niagara Falls, New York. He attended LaSalle Senior High School and was a fan of the Oakland Raiders. He loved to play the guitar and write songs. He was in the United States Army for a short time until medically discharged. Rance was very close to his mother, and had been missing her deeply since her passing five months ago.

 

Rance was the brother of Richelle Paige Green and Billy Brass, GiGi (Brass) Littere, Kerri (Green) Gregory, Jeff Brass, Korri (Green) Nelson, Peter Brass and also Donna Fortes, Roseanne Wagstaff, Sharon Wallace and Paul Mocny. 

 

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 5-7:30pm in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. A few words will be spoken at 7:00pm. A private service will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery on April 27, 2018.
