Shawn Z. Bernoski

Shawn Z. Bernoski, 31, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018.  Born on July 15, 1986 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Steven Carlisle and Adrianna (Bernoski) Richmond and the step-son of Bruce Walck.

Shawn was a lifelong area resident and attended Niagara Wheatfield High School.  At a young age, he looked forward to the day he could work in the construction field, in which his passion was fulfilled, as he was employed as a construction worker.  Shawn was honored to be a protector of many, especially his loved ones. He also enjoyed sports.

In addition to his parents, Shawn is survived by his son, Collin; sister, Lesa Richmond; half-brother, Steve; half-sister, Heather and his nephew, Camron Browne.  He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Maryanna Bernoski; paternal grandmother, Judy Cornelius; best friend, Samual Hopkins; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog, Tank.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.  Interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.
