Stacey A. (Lorenti) Roszel, 53, of the Town of Niagara, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Born on February 19, 1965 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Shirley Ann (Miller) Lorenti and the late Richard “Dick” Lorenti.
Stacey was a lifelong area resident. She attended local schools and graduated in 1983 from Lewiston-Porter High School. On September 14, 1991, Stacey married Richard S. Roszel, Sr. Since the age of 21, she worked as a school bus driver for the Niagara Wheatfield School District, up until she was unable to drive, due to her illness. Stacey’s family, children and grandchildren were the center of her life.
In addition to her mother and husband, Stacey is survived by children, Samantha Roszel, Steven Roszel and Richard (Ashley) Roszel, Jr.; grandchildren, Alana and Brayden; brother, Shawn Carter and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the American Cancer Society.
