Susan (Zbieszkowski) Kerrison, 63, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away peacefully in her home, with her loving husband by her side, on Sunday, November 19, 2017.  Born on April 20, 1954 in North Tonawanda, NY, Susan was the daughter of the late Joseph and Camille (Talandziewicz) Zbieszkowski.

Susie, as she was known to family and friends, graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1972. Early on, she worked at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base and DeGraff Memorial Hospital. In her later years, Susie took care of various children in her home.  She also worked with elderly individuals needing assistance and companionship.  Susie was an avid animal activist taking several special needs animals into her home.  She was a loving soul, who opened up her heart and home to anyone in need.

Susie was a member of the Sanborn Historical Society and enjoyed crocheting, caring for and watching the birds, reading, donating her time, attending and contributing to basket raffles, the outdoors, gardening and getting motorcycle rides with her brother, Jerry.

Susie is survived by her adoring husband, Randy Kerrison; daughter, Stacey Wasieczko; brother, Gerald; sister, Shirley and aunts, Rita and Jeannie.  She is also survived by Jessica Culbert, who Susie cared for and loved as if she was her own daughter and Randy’s family, all were very supportive during her illness.

A gathering will be held at a later date with close friends and family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to SPCA Niagara.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME. Please visit www.goodlandercares.com for online condolences.
