Terry W Davis

Terry W. Davis, 68, of Lewiston, NY, passed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2015 in The VA Hospital in Buffalo, NY, after a short illness.  Born on January 22,1947 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late William and Ruth(Dutton)Davis.  On Novemeber 5, 1971, Terry married his beloved wife Joan(Davison).  

Mr. Davis attended schools in Niagara Falls and joined the United States Army in 1967 and served in Vietnam until 1968.  Terry was employed by Harrison Radiator in Lockport, where he worked for 40 years.  He was an avid boater on the Upper Niagara River, party host and enjoyed his ability to fix anything.  He loved to travel and always kept the good times rolling. Although he had a strong work ethic, he always liked to have fun and made sure your glass was always full. He was a lifetime member of the VFW 917, formerly 54 and the American Legion Post 1451.  Above all, Terry loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Along with his beloved wife, Mr. Davis is survived by his Loving children; son, Jeff (Corinne) and daughter, Amanda (Michael) Buonopane and adoring grandchildren, Max and Vivian Davis. Terry is also survived by two sisters; Peggy Pietrangeli and Patti (Dennis) Conti and one brother, Thomas Davis.  He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved furry companion, Lola.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 PM OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may bemade to the Disabled American Veterans or AmVets.
