Ann ((Boswell)) MacFarlane

Ann (Boswell) MacFarlane, 84, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.  Born on January 22, 1934 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Winker) Boswell.  On March 21, 1959, Ann married Robert A. MacFarlane.  He predeceased her on June 23, 2015.

Ann was a lifelong area resident.  She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and attended Rider College.  She was primarily a homemaker and worked as a secretary for Carborundum.  Ann’s life was centered around her family and her dog, Buddy.

Ann is survived by three children, Robert “Art” MacFarlane, Amy (Ronald) Pieroni and Scott (Jennifer) MacFarlane; four grandchildren, Gregory and Sarah MacFarlane and Alison and Ellen Pieroni.

There will be no prior visitation. Private committal prayers and interment will be held in Northridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made in Ann’s name to SPCA of Niagara.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
