Annie L. (Johnson) Douglas

Annie L. (Johnson) Douglas, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, departed this life on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Buffalo General Medical Center, following a brief illness.  Born on February 2, 1949 in Andalusia, AL, she was the daughter of the late K.C. Johnson and the late Louise (Johnson) Watkins.

Annie came to Niagara Falls as child with her family.  She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  Annie, a daughter of God, raised her six children and made a home for them and continued to be a loving caregiver for her family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed health and fitness, reading, shopping and cooking.

Annie is survived by children, Sabrina Douglas, Felicia Douglas, Danielle Rice, Christina Douglas, Amber Douglas and Shateer Rah Rene Douglas; grandchildren, Sharlissa, Adam, Mykayla, Garvin IV, Tamya, Trevon, Kaelub, Jahmyra, Elijah and Mia and eight great-grandchildren with an expected great-grandson.  She is also survived by siblings, Donald Watkins, Sandra Vincent and Kathy Sistrunk; her best friend, Stella Lane and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Annie’s Life will be held on Friday, January 4th, beginning at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, with Pastor Gordon M.
