Ashley R. Lelievre, 28, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Born on December 19, 1989, she was the daughter of Peter and Charlene (Maracle) Lelievre.
Ashley was a lifelong resident, attended local schools and graduated with her regents diploma from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the Seneca Niagara Casino as a hotel front desk clerk, a supervisor of the housekeeping department and worked in customer relations of Stir at the casino.
Ashley, in her younger years, was in gymnastics and girl scouts. She was taught at a young age to sail (junior sailing) and took dance for 9 years (tap, jazz and hip-hop), which she was able to use her talent later while working at the casino. Ashley also cared for horses. She was very talented in her art work, but at a young age discovered that she had an extraordinary operatic singing voice. Her passion became singing. Ashley was a classically trained opera singer and won many awards for her ability. She also blessed many weddings and funerals with her voice. Ashley’s greatest love was her beloved baby daughter, Gemma.
In addition to her caring parents, Ashley is survived by her baby daughter, Gemma Vincenza Justiana; sisters, Elizabeth Rutkowski (Brian) Donegan and Rebecca Ann Lelievre (Vincent) DeLorenzo; grandparents, Helen (late Marvin) Lelievre and Vincenette (late Charles) Maracle and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5th at 12:00 NOON at Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, with Rev. Father Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S., serving as celebrant and Rev. Father Julio Ciavaglia concelebrating. Family and friends are invited to gather at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
