Clarence J. Lavigueur

Clarence J. Lavigueur, 55, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.  Born on December 2, 1963 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late Clarence O. and Angela (Franjoine) Lavigueur.

Clarence graduated from Niagara Falls High School and studied at Niagara County Community College.  He was currently employed as a Baking and Milling Superintendent, in building #310, working for Ashland Advanced Materials in Niagara Falls.  Clarence was a man with a heart of gold, a sense of humor and was devoted to his family and friends.  If you needed help with anything, all you had to do was ask and Clarence was there.  He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and pride and joy, who loved him so much. Clarence enjoyed watching football and having bonfires with his friends that he cared deeply for. 

Clarence is survived by his life partner, Linda (Curtis) Alm; son, Christopher (Anna) Lavigueur; grandchildren, Nicholas and Peyton Lavigueur; a brother, Ernest (Frances “Eileen”) Lavigueur; nephew, Jonathan Lavigueur; step-sons, Joseph and Jonathan Alm and his former spouse, Michele E. (Gregory) Gansworth.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 2nd from 1-4 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, with closing prayers at 4:00 p.m.  A private committal service and interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS).  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
