James Skupin, 70, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his residence. Born on March 7, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Stephanie (Hojnacki) Skupin.
Jim, as he was known by family and friends, was a lifelong area resident and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. Jim was employed as an electrician, beginning his career at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and then went on to work for Carborundum and ended his career, retiring in 2008, from the City of Niagara Falls. Jim was a member of the IBEW #237. Jim was a train collector, an avid NASCAR and New York Yankee fan.
Jim’s immediate family, the Hojnacki, Trzeciak, Moskalik and Manz families, loved ones and close friends will mourn and miss him.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 1st from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. all in the funeral Chapel, with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
