John W. "Jack" Seyler

John W. “Jack” Seyler, 74 of Lockport, NY, departed this life on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his residence.  Born on January 15, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Elmer “Lloyd” and Gladys Irene (Emms) Seyler.

Jack, as he was known to family and friends” was raised and attended schools in Niagara Falls.  He then spent 28 years in Arizona before coming back to the local area 8 years ago.  Jack was employed by Harrison Radiator as a production worker.  He was an extremely talented and accomplished guitarist and song writer and was a member of the Niagara Sunday Flyers.

Jack is survived by children, Russell Seyler, Deana (Jeff) Richard and Johna (Josh) Nix; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (late Richard) Fisher, William Seyler and Terry (Joanne) Seyler; his former spouse, Carladine Seyler and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.  Please visit www.goodlandercares.com for online condolences and to order flowers.
