Lawrence Michael "Mike" Hoffman

Lawrence Michael Hoffman, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Sunday, August 11, 2019.  Born on January 22, 1950 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Adam J. And Florence M. (Lambert) Hoffman.  On May 12, 1973, Mike, as he was known to family and friends, married the former Catherine A. “Cathie” Carbin.

Mr. Hoffman was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School.  Mike was employed by United Cerebral Palsy as well as other business, where he provided many aspects of construction and carpentry.  Most recently, he was employed by Fort Niagara State Park, working in maintenance.  Mr. Hoffman was a communicant of Prince of Peace Church, enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hoffman is survived by children, Christine Elizabeth (Jesse) Frey, Steven Michael (Jean) Hoffman, Jennifer Carol (Clifford) Brown and Stephanie Marie (Ryan) Hachee; grandchildren, Hunter, Lillyanna Rose, Kallie, Mollie and Annberlynn; siblings, Robert J. (Barbara) Hoffman, Barbara J. Hoffman and Diane Marie (Edward) Palazinski and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Visitation will be on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, with a funeral service following visitation at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Randy Thurman officiating.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, Mike would want you to do something good for somebody else.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
