Leo Tomasik, Sr.

Leo Tomasik, Sr., 81, of Cheektowaga, NY, passed from this life on November 12, 2019 at the Buffalo V.A. Medical Center.  Born on April 4, 1938 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Zastawny) Tomasik.  

Leo married the former Catherine Mankowski on May 14, 1960. He was employed as a steel worker and retired from Buffalo Forge.  

In addition to his beloved wife, Leo is survived by children, Darlene (Michael) Dinino, Irene (Kenneth) Beilman, Leo (Jutta) Tomasik, Jr., Timothy Tomasik, Rebecca Tomasik and Paulette (Robert) Manns; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service on Saturday, November 16th at 9:30 a.m. at The Chapel at CrossPoint (in The Andrews Chapel), 500 CrossPoint Parkway, Getzville, NY, with Rev. Dr. Jerry Gillis, Lead Pastor officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Buffalo V.A. Medical Center.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R.
