Linda (Duncan) Malfa

Linda (nee Duncan) Malfa, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, following a lengthy illness.  Born on December 8, 1955 Linda was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. 

She attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1974.  Most recently, Linda was manager of the Niagara Falls Air Force Federal Credit Union.  Prior to the credit union, she was the owner and operator of the former Quote & Quill on Center Street in Lewiston.  Linda’s life was centered around her family.  She loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, who knew her as “GiGi.”

Linda was the daughter of Burnard Duncan; a loving mother to two daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Calero and Lindsay (Dave) Penale; GiGi to Giovani and Julianna Calero and Vinny Penale; beloved sister to Cheryl (Jay) Wicks and Randy (Patty) Duncan and a longtime companion to Tony Malizie.  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her mother, Gloria (Hartwig) Duncan.

The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Breast Cancer Network of WNY, 3297 Walden Avenue, Depew, NY 14043.
