Marilyn J. (Yoho) Schotz

Marilyn J. (Yoho) Schotz, 91, of Belmont, NY, wife of the late Walter R. Schotz, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born on May 23, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Leietta (Vaughan) Yoho.  

Marilyn was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, NY and worked as a bartender for many local establishments.  Following her retirement, she moved to Belmont.  Marilyn loved her family and friends, which her life was centered around them.

Marilyn is survived by children, David Schotz and Karen (late William) Watson; grandchildren, Amanda (Philip) Walrad, Michael (Karen) Sipior and Stephan (Amber) Sipior; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Piper, Reese, Madeline and Josephine; a sister, Beverly (late James) Woods and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Visitation will be on Friday, from 3-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Northridge Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
