Marvin W. Brewer, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on July 8, 1950 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Floyd and Gloria (Swanson) Brewer.
Marvin graduated Lockport High School in 1968 and served in the National Guard. He worked in the car business for 38 years, employed by Gambino Ford and Basil Ford, mainly working as a service advisor, service manager and a warranty administrator. Marvin was the recipient of 5 gold Medallion Service Awards. He loved golf, baseball and singing.
Marvin is survived by his partner, Barbara A. Brewer; children, Timothy (Nicholl) Brewer, Paula (Joseph) Mancini and Daniel Keister; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathryn (Charlie Steffenilla) Millard and Teresa (Joe) Kearns and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel, with Father Jeffrey Nowak officiating. Private interment in Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
