Rennie F. (Holody) Sikoski

Rennie F. (Holody) Sikoski, 93, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on September 26, 1924 in Niagara Falls, NY as Renata Frances Holody, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Caroline “Charlotte” (Scierra) Holody.  

On October 1, 1949, Rennie married John Sikoski.  He predeceased her in 1998. Rennie was a longtime resident of Youngstown and was a communicant of St. Bernards Roman Catholic Church. She was awarded a proclamation from the village, in honor of her 80 years of dedicated service to the Village of Youngstown.  Rennie was primarily a homemaker, but did work for The Ontario House, also known as The Stone Jug.

Rennie is survived by three sons, John Cyrus, Peter Pious and Steven Sikoski; 5 grandchildren; one sister, Eugenia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband, Rennie was predeceased by her son, Frank and a sister, Olga.
