Robert Gerald Spencer, 32, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Born on February 4, 1986 in Welland, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Gordon and Ann (Pigeon) Spencer of Youngstown, NY.
Bobby, as he was known by his family and friends, came to the Niagara Falls area at the age of four. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Bobby was a talented mechanic, working on small engines, motorcycles and cars. He loved photography, was a fan of the Buffalo Sabres and a Second Amendment Advocate. Bobby was looking forward to hunting this year with his family and friends. His greatest passion was spending time with his boys and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his fiancé and life-partner, Amber Sawyer; sons, Tanner and Parker Spencer; siblings, Mary Spencer, Glenn (Lauren) Spencer, Michael (Heather Printup) Spencer and Joel Spencer and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gerald Spencer and Susan (late Paul) Garis and his maternal grandparents, Mary Richardson and Fred Pigeon.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3rd from 4-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Vince Eisaman of United-Baptist Christian Church will officiate Bobby’s service. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a Veterans charity of one’s choosing.
