Rose M. (Roberts) Benchik

Rose M. (Roberts) Benchik, 70, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Terrace View Long Term Care Facility.  Born on February 12, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Durwood Wallace and Mary Jane (Edmonds) Roberts.

Rose graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1965. For many years she was employed as an accountant for the Ramada Inn and moved on to be the head accountant for Nike International in Portland, Oregon. 

Rose is survived by a son, Daniel Benchik; siblings, Helen Wodka and Randy Siewell; dear friend, Dan Lum, Sr. and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Jason Benchik.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Terrace View Long Term Care Facility for the excellent care and compassion shown to Rose over the past five years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rose’s life on Saturday, April 21st at 12:00 NOON in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, with Pastor Joseph Whitman officiating. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
