Ruth Marie (Zygand) Lineberger

Ruth Marie (Zygand) Lineberger, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Elderwood at Wheatfield.  Born on July 18, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Wells) Zygand.  

Ruth was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1950.  On February 2, 1956, she married Robert Lineberger.  He predeceased her on November 5, 1973. She was a wonderful, strong an independent woman. Ruth was employed as a legal secretary for Phelps, Grey and Hewitt as well as a deli clerk for Tops Markets.  

Ruth is survived by children, John (Alicia) Lineberger and Robin (late Bruce) Dent; grandchildren, Erin (Kevin Petz) Dent, Rebekah Lineberger and Gillian Lineberger and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Zygand.

A private committal and graveside service will be held on Friday in Oakwood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
