Scott A. MacVie

Scott A. MacVie, 48, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, currently of Cocoa, Fl, passed from this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence.  Born on December 7, 1969 in Niagara Falls, NY, Scott was the beloved son of Alexander C. and Janet M. (Lowman) MacVie.  

Scott attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  He also attended the State University of New York at Potsdam as well as Clarkson University. Scott’s life path and career was set in motion at a very young age. This was his love of computers and technology. He had a very brilliant mind and a gentle soul. Most recently he has been employed as a IT tech at Total Entry Control Systems in the sunny state of Florida. 

In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his sister, Marcy MacVie and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Raphael Parish, 3840 Macklem Ave, Niagara Falls, NY.  Private interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Comprehensive Center, www.roswellpark.org.
