William A. Lewis

William A. Lewis, 63, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born January 19, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late William and Beatrice (Uglow) Lewis.

William was employed as an auto mechanic at various locations.  He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1972 until he was honorably discharged in 1974.  William enjoyed snowmobiling, was a movie buff and was very talented in auto body painter.

William is survived by  children, Steven Lewis, Cassandra Maczo and Erica (Kevin) McCarthy; grandchildren, Layla Maczo and Addison McCarthy.  He was predeceased by a son, Joseph Lewis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 5-7 p.m. at Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY.  Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
