Anthony J. Manganero, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 13, 2021 following a lengthy illness. Born on July 29, 1954 in Cory, PA, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Katherine (nee Perry) Manganero. On August 9, 1986, Tony married Paula J. McClellan.
Tony came to Niagara Falls as a child with his parents. He graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School and earned his Associates Degree from Niagara County Community College. Tony owned and operated a used car business and was also employed by several area car dealers, holding various positions. He loved antique cars and restoring them, cooking, baking and canning and freezing Italian sauces and meals.
In addition to his beloved wife, Tony is survived by daughters, Tonya and Evynn Manganero; close cousins, Michael (Cathy Foley) Collier and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
The family will be present on Monday, October 18th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Tony’s funeral service and life celebration will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.
