Antonio Brevetti, age of 82, passed away on April 27, 2024. Born on May 14, 1941 in Cervinara, Avellino, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Mariarosa (Piccolo) Brevetti.
Papa Tony, as he was known, came from Italy to Niagara Falls in the early 1960’s. He was employed as a truck driver for various local companies. Papa Tony enjoyed having coffee with 'the guys' at Burger King.
Papa Tony is survived by daughters, Mariarossa (Brian) Ball, Josephine (James) Runkle, and Emma Brevetti; grandchildren, Lindsey (Andrew) Gurr, Kevin (Amanda) Runkle, Tyler (Robert) Gerard, Kimberly (James) Runkle, Colin Brevetti, and Adrianna Hunt; sisters, Carmela (late Joseph) Morinello and Francesca (Jack) Ricchio and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Saturday, May 11th, from 12-3 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
