Barbara E. (Swoope) Armagost

Barbara E. (Swoope) Armagost, 71, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on December 13, 2025, at her residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on August 31, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dolores Swoope and the wife of Wayne Armagost.

Barb enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, sewing and spending time with her family.

Barb is survived by children, Fred (Melanie Krell) Armagost, Stephanie (Ross Capton) Armagost and Michelle (Tony) Colucci; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Elijah, Brianna (Marcus), Jasmine, Freddy, Tiara, Mackenzie, Destiny, Jordan, Paige, Nicholas, Leo and Parker; adopted granddaughter, Carolyn; great-grandchildren, Jackalyhna, Jaleanah, Kaydan, Bella, Michael, Jordan, Dre, Lily, Athena, Charolette, Vivianna, Braxton, Alyssa and Leila; siblings, Kenneth "Butch" (Debbie) Swoope, Gordon (late Linda) Swope and Gloria (late Teddy) Patronski, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, December 19th, from 3-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).
