Betty V. (Salisbury) Tomlin

Betty V. (nee Salisbury) Tomlin, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 14, 2023.  Born on December 13, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Joseph and Anna (nee Davidson) Salisbury.  On September 12, 1953, she married Billy V. Tomlin.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1950.  Following her education, she was an employee of the Chamber of Commerce Credit Bureau and after raising her family, Betty worked as the assistant to the president of Flame Control Coatings, Inc. Betty loved gardening and was so proud of her beautiful flowers. She also loved cooking amazing meals for her large family and gathering on Sunday after church for dinner. Betty was a longtime, devoted member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, NY.

In addition to her beloved husband, Betty is survived by children, Mark Tomlin, Steven (Betty) Tomlin, Kevin (Annette) Tomlin and Daniel (Rosel) Tomlin; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; caregiver, Peggy Bulky and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, John Tomlin and all of her siblings.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, May 19th, from 3-7 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 616 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev.
