Blanche Louise (Szukala) Mayer

Blanche Louise Mayer, 86, of Niagara Falls NY, passed away on August 12, 2021. She was born on April 28, 1935 to the late Louis and Helen (Rzeszotarski) Szukala in Dunkirk NY.

Blanche retired from the City of Niagara Falls Payroll Department and previously for Heary and Assoc. LLC Accountants. Blanche was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish where she worshipped at the Prince of Peace site. She enjoyed danish needle painting. 

Blanche is survived by two children, Joseph R.(Cynthia Louise Elek-Mayer) Mayer and Thomas E. Mayer; two grandchildren, William Mayer and Whitney Lynn (Kyle) Mayer-Davis and one soon to be great-grandson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, John Leo Mayer and one brother, Raymond Szukala, D.D.S. 

The family will be present on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Blanche’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
