Carmella L. (Reynolds) Irick

Carmella L. Irick, age 61, passed away on November 28, 2025, in Niagara Falls. She was born and raised in Buffalo, NY.  Carmella built a life defined by strength, passion, and an unwavering devotion to the people she loved.

Carmella proudly served in the United States Navy, where she embraced the call to defend and support others—a commitment that carried through every chapter of her life. Hardworking and fearless, she approached each day with determination and a spirit that inspired those around her.

A spontaneous mother to her daughter, Charnell Boykin, Carmella also cherished her role as a sister to Ricky and Carlotta, and as a beloved aunt to her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to her, and she filled their lives with warmth, humor, and unforgettable moments.

Carmella was known for her radiant presence—she could light up any room and leave a lasting impression with her wit and vibrant personality. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially her beloved Lisa, exploring new opportunities, and especially playing bingo, a pastime that brought her joy and connection.

A true Scorpio, Carmella was passionate, strong, and fearless. Her love, her laughter, and her extraordinary spirit will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and eternally loved.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Monday, December 29th, from 12:00-12:30 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Carmella’s Funeral Service and Life Celebration will follow visitation at 12:30 p.m.
