Carol Ann (Orfano) Swalwell

Carol Ann Swalwell (Orfano), 83, of Niagara Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born on December 31, 1942, in Niagara Falls, she was a lifelong resident of the community she loved.

Carol dedicated more than 35 years of service to the Niagara Falls School District, where she worked as a lunch aide. She was known for her caring nature, warm smile, and the countless lives she touched throughout her years serving local students and families.

Carol was the beloved wife of 22 years to the late Thomas E. Swalwell. She was also the loving daughter of the late Cosmo J. Orfano and Angela Orfano (DeSantis).

She is survived by her devoted children, Thomas C. Swalwell (Susan) and Lisa M. Klinger; her cherished grandchildren, Kayla N. Klinger (Zack) and Kody T. Klinger; and her treasured great-grandson, Lachlan. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Carol's family will remember her for her strength, kindness, quick wit, and the love she shared so generously with everyone around her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
