Casimir S. Tubinis, also known as Casey, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 19, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born on April 3, 1931 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Casimir and Helen (Lewandowski) Tubinis and the husband of the late Elizabeth (Bak) Tubinis.
Casimir attended local schools. He proudly served in the United States Navy, from August 7, 1950, until his honorable discharge on June 4, 1954. Casimir worked as an electronic service repairman and later was employed as a Correction Officer for the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of the former Divine Mercy Parish and local VFW and American Legions. Casimir enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending Buffalo Bills games, as he was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
Casimir is survived by children, Donna (Kevin) Jester and David (Kelli) Tubinis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many cousins. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Debra (late Ben) Guindon.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, from 4-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Casimir’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 25th, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek serving as celebrant. Everyone assemble at the church. Prayers of committal, concluding with Military Honors, will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
