Catherine A. (Carbin) Hoffman

Catherine A. (Carbin) Hoffman, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 12, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born on February 22, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Carol (Hollingshead) Carbin and the wife of the late Lawrence Michael ‘Mike’ Hoffman.

Cathie graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School and was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was a member of The Point Church in Lewiston, NY.

Cathie is survived by children, Christine Elizabeth (Jesse) Frey, Steven Michael (Jean) Hoffman, Jennifer Carol (Clifford) Brown, Stephanie Marie (Ryan) Hachee and Erin (David) Timmer; grandchildren, Hunter, Lillyana Rose, Alexa, Mollie, Annberlynn, Zoe and Chuckie; siblings, Bill (Gina) Carbin, Michelle (Jerry) Bay, Kim (Neil) Silcock, Jeffery (Ann) Carbin and Todd Carbin and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Connie (Nick) Cicali.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, April 17th, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Cathie’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to The Point Church, 409 Plain Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.
