Charles Robert Cantara

Charles Robert Cantara, 73, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed from this life on January 4, 2024.  Born on February 23, 1950 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Helen (Toth) Cantara.  On January 26, 1971, Charles married Elizabeth Cassett.

Charles attended local schools.  He was employed in the shipping and receiving department of the Tulip Corporation.  Charles enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, loved NASCAR, and was always up for a round of slot machines at the casino.

In addition to his beloved wife, Charles is survived by a daughter, Amie (Christopher A.) Lazarou; grandchildren, Kalie (Daniel) Miera, Nicholas Lazarou, Kyle Lazarou, and Jennifer Cantara and his sister, Linda Etiopio.
