Charles Malinowski Life story

Charles J. ‘Chucky’ Malinowski, age 58, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice, with his daughters by his side. He was the son of the late James S. Malinowski Sr. and Linda Malinowski.

Charles lived life on his own terms. He was a talented carpenter, earned his black belt in martial arts, and found freedom riding his Harley on the open road. He loved fishing and made the most of every moment.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Katarina (Marco) Vilardo and Breanna Malinowski-Riley; Katarina’s mother, Monica Givan-Petrishin and her daughters whom Charles raised as his own, Jasmine, Jacquelyn, and Johannah Petrishin; an Uncle who he shared a very special bond with, Jonas Patricko, who trained him from a young child in tang soo do Martial Arts, along with other extended family members. He was predeceased by his beloved brother James (Christine) S. “Jimmy” Malinowski Jr.

His brother Jimmy once said to him, “We’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time.” Those words reflected the way Charles lived his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

The family will honor Charles’ life by holding a private funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House in gratitude for the compassionate care and support provided to Charles and his family.
