Cindy (Coscia) Soos

Cindy (Coscia) Soos, 54, of Cortland, NY, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer, at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in 1970 to Janice and Frank Coscia in Niagara Falls, NY. Cindy was a highly respected Director of Habilitation Services at her workplace, the JM Murray Center, where she was well-loved by her clients. 

In her personal life, Cindy was known for her love of animals and game shows, and was well-known on the block for her impressive seasonal house decorating. Friends and family remember her for her perfect smile, and her ability to never miss a date. She spent her vacations cruising or glamping with her daughter, enjoying a tan or the heat of a campfire. 

In addition to her parents, Cindy is survived by her siblings, Melissa, KC, and Joe and their spouses, Jack, Matt, and Linden; her daughter, Allee, and her many nieces and nephews as well as all her friends in the community. 

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Donations may be made to Niagara County SPCA or Niagara Hospice.
