Cleda Ann Burks

Cleda Ann Burks, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, wife of the late Michael Riley, passed away on January 29, 2021.  Born on February 8, 1959 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugene ‘Jim’ Burks and the late Janet (nee Folden) Burks.

Cleda was a lifelong area resident, graduated from Niagara Catholic High School and attended Erie Community College. She held various positions at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara. Cleda was a congregant of and worshipped at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She loved spending time with her friends, playing 'Words with Friends,’ where she excelled and interacted with others.

Cleda is survived by a sister, Denise Patterson; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Nancy, Robyn, Cindy, Jim and Janet. 

The family will be present on Thursday, February 4th from 4-6:30- p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where her funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Father Joseph D. Wolf officiating.  Friends invited. Private prayers of committal and interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Masks and social distancing will be required for your safety at all gatherings.  Thank you for your support and understanding.  The funeral service will be offered to view virtually by visiting www.Facebook.com/goodlandercares.
