Dale P. Damato

Dale P. Damato, (USA RES Ret.), 55, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away in the presence of his loving family on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Strong Memorial Hospital.  Born on March 12, 1963 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Louis and Molly (Blow) Damato.  On March 21, 1992, he married the former Pamela E. Henninger.

Dale proudly served as a United States Army Reservist for 20 years.  For 23 years, he was employed by Life Technologies working in their storage and shipping department.  Dale was a congregant of United Baptist Christian Church in Lewiston.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and had a passion for all military memorabilia and history. 

In addition to his beloved wife, Dale is survived by a son, Joseph; brothers, Mark and Daniel (Anna Marie) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Louis and Michael (Kathy).

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m., concluding with Military Honors.  Private interment will take place in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a veterans charity of one’s choosing.
