Dana M. Watts

Dana M. Watts, 76, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on May 21, 2026.  Born on September 8, 1949 in Gowanda, NY, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Shirley (Silverheels) Watts and the husband of Terri L. (Hemmesch) Watts.

Dana was employed in Minneapolis as a Heavy Equipment Operator and an Iron Worker for 20 years.  Locally, he worked as a Laborer for various gas stations on the Tuscarora Nation.  Dana was an independent thinker and followed his own path.

In addition to his beloved wife of over 40 years, Dana is survived by children, Melissa (Bruce) Dehkes, Wade (Mary) Watts, Taylor (Tasha) Watts and Danielle Watts; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Rowyn, Kiera, Veida and Weslynn; siblings, Terri (Frank) Dorgan, Donna (Patrick) Eagan, Marianne (Dave) Winquist and Valerie (Donald) Stafford and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Dale Watts.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, May 26th, from 4-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Dana’s funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m.
