Daniel David Kachinoski of the Town of Niagara was tragically taken from this life on November 19, 2022, at the age of 40. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 7, 1982, he was the son of Deanna Kachinoski and the late Gordon Lawie
Dan was a lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was a descendent from The Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nations and was proud of his native heritage. Dan was an “entrepreneur” doing many different jobs. He enjoyed working with his hands whether it was installing a new roof or as a mechanic repairing cars and trucks. He took pride as a single father that loved and took great care of his young son Daniel. Dan also enjoyed cooking and loved playing basketball. He had a big loving heart and was a friend to many. He would always help anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother and son, Dan is also survived by Brother Nicholas Campbell, Niece Dolly Campbell and Nephew Odin Campbell, Aunt Leslie (Joseph) Kocsis, and Uncle William (Joanne) Kachinoski. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that were family to him.
The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, November 25th, from 3-6 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Dan’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 26th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St Leo Roman Catholic Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Robert Hughson serving as celebrant. Friends invited. Everyone please assemble at the church. Private inurnment will be held later.
